About Julie

Deep experience in educational quality, inspection and school improvement.

Julie Price Grimshaw is an experienced education consultant specialising in school improvement, self-evaluation, teaching and learning, middle management and initial teacher training.

From 2001 to 2007, Julie served as Her Majesty’s Inspector with Ofsted, bringing substantial experience in the evaluation of educational quality and standards.

She subsequently worked as a Quality and Inspection Specialist with the Training and Development Agency for Schools, supporting providers of initial teacher training, and later worked as a lead additional inspector with Serco.

Julie has also held advisory and governance roles within major education trusts and has worked independently through JPG Education since 2007, supporting schools and education leaders primarily across the north of England.
