Model Britain began with an ambition to create something extraordinary: a miniature Britain brought to life through movement, craftsmanship and storytelling. The journey has not been straightforward, but the vision endured.
The Beginning
The original vision for Model Britain is conceived: an ambitious idea to bring the United Kingdom to life through miniature, movement and storytelling.
The vision is interrupted.
Following a serious accident involving founder Gary McCauley, development of Model Britain is placed on hold. The project stops.
The ambition does not.
The vision returns.
Years later, Model Britain is revived with renewed purpose and substantially greater ambition, beginning its evolution from the original concept into a major visitor destination.

Model Britain is now in active development, bringing together experienced leadership, professional advisers and specialist partners to transform the vision into reality.
