Simon Kohler is one of the most respected and influential figures in the British models and hobbies industry, with a distinguished career spanning more than four decades.

Best known for his long-standing leadership at Hornby Hobbies, Simon played a pivotal role in shaping and reviving some of Britain's most iconic hobby brands, including Hornby Railways, Scalextric and Airfix.

As Marketing & Development Director at Hornby, Simon helped drive a period of renewed creativity and commercial momentum. His work included the relaunch of Hornby Dublo, the introduction of the new TT:120 scale for the UK and the revitalisation of Scalextric for a new generation of enthusiasts.

His wider work has included major heritage and licensing collaborations, including Hornby's lead sponsorship of the Flying Scotsman Centenary celebrations and work with the Science Museum and National Railway Museum on authentic licensed collections.
