Discovery Channel to Air Global Series on Model Britain

Five-Part Documentary Will Chronicle the Construction of the UK’s Landmark Miniature World Attraction
Milton Keynes, UK – 1 August 2025 – Model Britain today announced that the Discovery Channel has commissioned a five-part documentary series that will follow the design and construction of the £45 million miniature world attraction set to open in 2028.
The series, currently in production, will provide viewers around the world with a behind-the-scenes look at how Britain’s most ambitious miniature attraction is being brought to life. Combining expert storytelling with unprecedented access, the program will chart every stage of the project’s journey – from concept and design, through engineering challenges, to the final unveiling.
Scheduled to air globally in mid-2027, the series will spotlight the artistry, innovation, and scale that define Model Britain. With more than 100,000 sq ft of immersive miniature worlds, the attraction is set to welcome over 700,000 visitors annually, making it one of the most significant cultural tourism projects in the UK.
