Model Britain Launches Curriculum-Linked Education Program to Inspire the Next Generation in STEM and Design

New initiative will engage schools and students nationwide through hands-on learning experiences.
Milton Keynes, UK – 20 June 2025 – Model Britain, the £45 million miniature world attraction opening in 2028, today announced the launch of a curriculum-linked education program designed to inspire students across the UK in science, technology, engineering, art, and design (STEAM).
Developed in consultation with teachers and education specialists, the program will offer structured workshops, digital resources, and interactive experiences aligned with the national curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to explore real-world applications of engineering, design, history, and technology through the unique lens of Britain in miniature.

The program will include:
- School Visits: Tailored tours with workshops in design, engineering, and history.
- Curriculum Resources: Lesson plans and digital materials for teachers.
- STEM & Design Workshops: Practical, project-based sessions encouraging problem-solving and creativity.
- Career Inspiration: Opportunities for students to engage with professionals in the design, engineering, and technology sectors.
With the attraction projected to welcome over 700,000 visitors annually, Model Britain aims to become a national hub for educational enrichment, complementing classroom learning and inspiring young people to pursue careers in engineering, design, and creative industries.
